Accessibility
Aeuix wants everyone to be able to use aeuix one, including people who use assistive technology. This statement describes where we are and how to reach us if something is hard to use.
Our standard
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA for the web app, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and accessibility APIs for the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps.
What we have done
- Text is never smaller than 10 px on desktop and 11 px on phones, secondary text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and every colour is defined so light and dark mode both meet it.
- Buttons and close targets are at least 32 px, and the phone tab bar and controls meet Apple’s 44 pt touch target where they sit in reach.
- Animation is switched off for people who choose “Reduce motion”.
- Screens are keyboard-navigable, form fields have labels, and icons that carry meaning have text alternatives. The public pages include a “Skip to content” link.
- The iOS apps use standard SwiftUI controls with VoiceOver labels, respect Dynamic Type for text, and support the system’s increased contrast and bold text settings.
Known limitations
- The Jam moodboard canvas (web only) is a free-form drawing surface and is not fully operable with a keyboard or screen reader.
- Face boxes in the Photos lightbox are positioned visually; the same information is available as text in the People list.
- Some uploaded documents (client PDFs and images) are not authored by us and may not be accessible; ask us and we will provide an accessible version of anything Aeuix produced.
