Delete your account or library
You are in control of everything in aeuix Vault. This page covers three levels: one item, your whole library, and your aeuix account.
Delete single items or spaces
- An item: open it and tap the trash icon, or touch and hold it in the grid and choose Delete. Its record and image files are removed from our storage straight away.
- A space: touch and hold it on the Spaces tab and choose Delete space. The items inside stay in your library.
Delete your whole aeuix Vault library
Email will@aeuix.com from your account address with the subject “Delete my aeuix Vault library”. We confirm by reply, then remove every item, image, tag and space within 30 days, usually within a few days. Your aeuix account and anything in aeuix one are not affected.
Delete your aeuix account
aeuix Vault uses your aeuix account, so deleting the account also deletes your library.
- In the app, open your profile photo → Legal → Delete account, or email will@aeuix.com with the subject “Delete my aeuix account”.
- We confirm the request by replying to your account email (this is how we verify it is you).
- Your login is disabled on confirmation and deletion is completed within 30 days. We email you when it is done.
No reason is needed and there is no fee. If you also use aeuix one through a client company, this page explains what happens to that company’s shared work.
What is deleted
- Every saved item: links, titles, descriptions, preview images, images, notes and tags.
- Your spaces.
- With account deletion: your login, password, sessions and profile.
What stays, and why
- Backups, which are encrypted and overwritten within seven days.
- Copies on your devices. The app keeps a cache so your library opens quickly. Signing out clears your library from the screen; deleting the app removes the cache and anything still waiting to upload.
- Records we must keep by law, such as a copyright notice and our response to it.
